About Amanda

Amanda MacKinnon is a young English actor based in South London. 

 

Having recently graduated from University for the Creative Arts with a BA (Hons) in Acting, Amanda has trained extensively in both the stage and screen arts. During her studies she has worked on many exciting projects, including playing Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire directed by Gary Pillai, and has performed as Macbeth in a production directed by Robin Pearce.

Amanda's training includes intensive work on improvisation skills, physical theatre, a variety of accents, and devising her own theatre work. She has worked with a number of incredible directors, including Ellie Heydon, Steve North, James Buckingham and Nick Cohen.

​

Having also enjoyed work as a part-time model, Amanda has recently worked on shoots with documentary photographer Anna Fox and editorial photographer Poppy Marriott, as well as a promotional shoot for Doc Martens.
